If you were encouraging someone else to prioritize their health in autumn, what advice would you give, sort of draw on your own insights or lived experience? Don't buy the Halloween candy in September because you will eat it all before Halloween and then you have to buy more. Just wait until the last week of October to go buy your Halloween candy, otherwise you will eat 10 bags of candy. saying that from experience or anything. Never failed. I always have to buy more Halloween candy at the last minute. And I, you know, I'm not a big sweets eater usually, but you know, Halloween is a challenge. How do you stay motivated or connected to healthy habits during this time of year? Is there a behavior mindset or tool that helps? Staying in touch with some of my friends, you know, since I had my bariatric surgery at Northwest, there's a Facebook group called Strive to Succeed, so I'm in that. And, you know, other bariatric patients in the group and the nutritionist and and the nurse practitioner are in the group. So, you know, people share recipes and, you know, pat each other on the back for their accomplishments and support and encourage each other and that's very helpful too. What could a health shared community do to support you or others through autumn and into winter? Any ideas for engagement conversation or resources? If there were more like group physical activities like weekend walks, it's always easier to get you're exercising when you have other people with the same goals and objectives joining you. So like I said, we have the Strive to Succeed Facebook group. It would be nice if there was an actual get-together group where, hey, it's Saturday afternoon, the leaves are falling, let's go have a picnic, or let's go for a walk together. It would be nice to have some kind of a group activity.
