It's a fact we know that Corona had actually had a bigger effect on the BAME community in general and certainly on the South Asian community and I think Giri is still out, you know, like, I think we just drew the shortest straw when it came to genetics, that, you know, the highest rate of type 2 diabetes in the South Asian community, so corona also, from what I know, affected the South Asian community in a big way. Plus, the conspiracy theories that generated, they're still ongoing, and they're ongoing in a big way, not just among the older generation, but even within the the younger generation as well there are some sadly they're not in the majority but but the fact is that that you know the fact has been there that this these are there's you know uh this is to try and uh kill off the muslim population or you know outrageous statements like that um and uh unfortunately even within the professional um groups i know what people who, you know, have got these conspiracy theories. So I think it's been very difficult to to, you know, override that and but also people felt they feel there's a lot of bitterness as well among the Muslim community like for example in the early days when there were, you know, a huge amount of deaths and people weren't allowed to attend the funeral, they wanted to, to do their prayers and so on and so forth, but that I think is now beginning to subside a bit and hopefully we'll get over that.
