about treatments and things you can do for the long-term effects of COVID. There's obviously a lot of talk about vaccines in acute treatments, but what about some of the long-term and what are your views on that? Well, first thing to say is obviously there are more treatments for the acute treatment and the vaccine is actually, it's amazing what the scientific and the medical community have done in a very short space of time when it takes years and years to develop something. So this is a real example of something positive coming out of this. As far as the chronic symptoms are concerned, it's still obviously early days so nobody really knows the long-term effects, only time will tell. However, the received wisdom at the moment is that it's actually about getting the balance right between the fatigue which forms a potentially significant part of Covid and getting the balance right between trying to exercise within your limits once you've had a medical consultation to see how far you can go with it and to do it safely but the important thing is getting the balance right between listening to what your body is saying and responding to that but at the same time trying to undertake activities of daily living to keep your muscle strength up to keep your bone density up by doing more exercises when actually it's very easy with the tiredness not to do anything and not get into a vicious cycle of tiredness, not doing anything, muscle wasting and so forth. It's really important to get that balance right.
