Anthony, you mentioned that you are part of the Breathe Easy group and singing for health. How has singing helped you? Tremendously, because originally I had lost my voice altogether. And all my consultations with doctors and nurses was conducted in whispers. but learning the breathing techniques where you breathe from the abdomen rather than from the chest has released the tensions that prevented me from being able to speak. You feel it strengthened your breathing muscles? Absolutely, it's been a tremendous help and it means that I can whenever I feel breathless I can use these techniques to improve my breathing and to stop myself feeling faint I had a fall not so long ago and it was decided in the hospital I went to afterwards that I had been lacking oxygen. So now, if I feel a little bit on the faint side, I practice my breathing techniques and I'm okay. How long have you been doing it for? Three years. How long does it take to start to feel some benefit? I think the main benefit was about two months. Wow, quite quick. Quite quick, because I concentrated on it. And I have hardly missed any sessions at all. And it's been really well worthwhile. Superb.
