How do I prepare for a TAVI procedure?

Will I need to prepare for it? Have you? And if so, how? So on the whole, there's no specific preparation. We often if you are on blood thinning medication, for example, warfarin, or one of the newer novel anticoagulation medications, we often ask you to stop that a number of days before, but each patient is individual, and your cardiologist and treating team will give you a bespoke plan just for you. You often are admitted the day before and we do ask you not to eat or drink for about six to eight hours before your procedure.
