Cholecystectomy
One of the most commonly performed surgical procedures is gall bladder removal otherwise known as cholecystectomy. Gallbladder is a pear shape organ located just beneath liver serving the purpose of digestive fluid (bile), secreted by liver , concentration and storage for release later following a meal this bile is transported to the small gut first part (duodenum) through a narrow tubular duct called bile duct. Removal of gall bladder is generals not associated with any impairment in digestion.
