Treatments available for flat feet

What sort of treatment can you have for flat feet and what would you advise people do if they notice they've got flat feet? So the commonest treatment that we would recommend is insoles and this corrects the deformity without you actually having to have surgery. And the insoles are usually off the peg or custom made and custom made obviously is a nicer insole, it corrects the deformity better. If insoles are not applicable or the deformity is fixed then we recommend surgery and there are different forms of surgery such as tendon transfers or osteotomies which means breaking the bone and resetting the bone and ultimately you may require a fusion. But the type of surgery that would be recommended to you would depend on your surgeons preference and the level of deformity that you have. Thank you.
