Postoperative journey for open abdominal aortic repair.

I went to stay with my friend because I'd looked after him a year previously when he had a heart operation and obviously I lived in a first floor flat up some concrete steps so I went to stay with him and he looked after me, keep taking the tablets and he lived in a three story house so I was walking up and down the stairs very gingerly to start off with but I think that helped a bit and eventually I think it was probably the middle of February I was able to sort of go home the only thing I missed was not being able to drive because there is there are well depends where who you read and who you believe whether you can drive or not some people say you can drive as soon as you feel comfortable others say you you have to wait three months and whatever. Anyway, so that was that. So yeah, the 28th of February, I returned home. March the 10th, I went back to outpatients where they asked you, how are you doing, Leslie? And examined everything, talked about my bowel habits again, you know, a very, very exciting thing to discuss. But as my scar healed with no weaknesses and I was fine, they discharged me. And that was it, really. So, and you know, since that day, no problems AAA-wise at all.
