This is an exercise to stretch out your hip flexors in a seated position. I'm going to turn to the side with my left bottom cheek on the chair, my right bottom cheek not on the chair. I'm going to extend my right leg behind, placing the ball of the foot on the floor and straightening through that right knee. Place the hands on the left knee and push your spine upright, so you're not leaning forward, you want a nice straight spine, squeezing your right buttock and you'll feel a stretch through your right hip flexor. You hold that stretch for 30 seconds and then you can go ahead and repeat on the other leg.
