Why is Lindo Wing a great place to deliver?

Professor Teer, you practice at the Lindow Wing of St. Mary's Hospital which is famous for the Royal Deliveries. Well, not all Royal Deliveries. Is it that, is it really that amazing? So what I believe in when women come and see me for private care is actually the continuity of care between the caregiver and the woman and actually sometimes the husband. So with this continuity of care women will feel confident that with this one-to-one care they can ask me any question. No question is too dumb in pregnancy because there's so much in the internet you don't know what's right what's wrong. My role is to help read through all those questions which people don't really know are the real ones to be concerned about. By doing this and continuing dialogue with the parents or potential parents, they'll have confidence that in whatever happens that I'll be the person to help them through any potential complications but also a healthy delivery of a healthy baby to a healthy mother. So coming to the LINDU wing is one of the best so-called ways of giving health care to mother and baby in that the LINDU wing is a private maternity wing within an NHS hospital and St Mary's has an excellent obstetric ambulatory unit plus we have all our colleagues from vascular surgery, general surgery, cardiology who are around and anytime you need any extra help I just need to use my phone.
