Usually it requires an anaesthetic and it's a day case procedure, so you come in for the day. The surgery itself is arthroscopic and more than 99% of the time that is the case, occasionally, very occasionally, we have to open up to do a more formal open procedure. But once the surgery is done, then usually there's a period of immobilization in a special sling for up to between five to six weeks. And then that's followed by rehabilitation, including physiotherapy. And typically takes about three to four months to make a reasonable recovery from the treatment and to achieve a reasonable range of return of movement.
