dr Ali Ghoz

Mr Ali Ghoz is a Professor of Trauma and Orthopaedic surgery. He practices in London and Reading. In London, Professor Ghoz practices at The London Clinic(5 Devonshire Place), the Bupa Cromwell Hospital(South Kensington) and Chelsea Bridge Clinic(Chelsea). In Reading, Professor Ghoz practices at Spire Dunedin hospital. Having trained at the Yorkshire School of Surgery, he went on to practice at the Yorkshire Deanery and become a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery. Above his core training, Professor Ghoz undertook a Masters in Musculoskeletal Sciences from the prestigious Oxford University where he published numerous papers on the topics of hip and knee surgery. As a result of his research, he has since presented at a number of international conferences and continues to lecture and chair meetings internationally. He has also completed Fellowships in Adult Hip and Knee Reconstructive Surgery at The Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading, and in Adult Hip and Knee Arthroplasty, Knee Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine at The Prince of Wales/Mater Hospitals in Sydney, Australia. Professor Ghoz is a member of numerous orthopaedic societies including the British Orthopaedic Association, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association. He was also a reviewer of the British Bone and Joint Journal, examines medical students at the Oxford University Miller Orthopaedic Review course, and works as an instructor teaching Specialist Registrars and Trainees on the Smith and Nephew Instructional Courses.
