What is endothermal ablation?

Endothermal ablation is a minimally invasive treatment, or in layperson's terms, it's a keyhole treatment where a small little cart—it's all done through a very tiny little cart with needles and a probe is put in into the disease or the varicose vein, which then the probe then heat it up, you know, either with laser energy or radio frequency, which is a form of microwave energy, to basically burn or destroy that vein, what we call ablations. And the whole point is because that vein is causing problem, it's not working properly, and it's causing pain and discomfort or other symptoms to the patients, the whole point is to get rid of that wane using heat either laser or radio frequency energy.
