GLP-1 injections are peptides. They're gut hormone peptide molecules. They're synthesized in the laboratory. In patients with diabetes, the feedback loop from the bowel to the brain is impaired, which essentially means that most of the patients with type 2 diabetes would have higher body weights because they would have more higher, higher appetites. And they would feel less full compared to somebody who don't have diabetes.
