The motivation to face the challenges of summer as I'm out and about, I suppose, comes from within. I'm aware of, for example, of extreme heat and therefore I'd ensure that I do two things. One is that I've got a bottle of water with me and two that before I leave home I've got some kind of some sun cream on my body to protect me from extreme heat. I know there's a theory that some people believe that only the the fair skin, lighter skin people are at risk of heat stroke or being sunburned, but that's not necessarily the truth. We do, people of my colour skin also are at high risk. To protect myself from my head, I wear a hat just to ensure that my head stays cool. And as I said, I drink water as much as I can. Also with regards to the risk of COVID and other airborne diseases, it's ideal for me to meet people out and about outside in open spaces rather than indoors in cafes or at home.
