Is coronary artery disease curable?

Is it curable? So coronary artery disease I'm afraid is not curable but it is something that can be treated. Once you have the buildup of plaque inside the arteries it is difficult to get rid of the plaque but due to the buildup of plaque you can have several complications and these can all be treated. The important thing is to seek help early so that the progression of the buildup of plaque can be slowed down. We yet haven't found a treatment for getting rid of these plaques, but there's a lot of work happening and we are hopeful that in future, we will find a cure for coronary artery disease. At the moment, whatever we do is actually a palliative treatment to get rid of the symptoms and improve the prognosis of the patient.
