Is bariatric surgery reversible?

Can bariatric surgery be reversed after I have the procedure? So bariatric surgery can be reversed but it ultimately depends on which procedure you're having. So the three main types of bariatric surgery that we currently perform are the gastric band, the sleeve gastrectomy and the gastric bypass. But the gastric band can easily be reversed, all you have to do is to remove all the liquid from the band which can even be done in the office. However you can also go back in with keyhole surgery and remove the band, a very simple day case procedure. A gastric bypass can also be reversed, but it's technically more difficult. A sleeve gastrectomy, which is the operation where you remove part of the stomach, that cannot be reversed for obvious reasons because you're removing part of the stomach. But one thing I should mention is it's very rare to need to reverse bariatric surgery. And if anyone has it reversed, they usually regain all the weight they had lost in the first place. Thank you.
