How obesity with related co morbidities affect life expectancy

How will obesity and its related conditions, including diabetes, hypertension and chronic venous insufficiency affect my life expectancy? We've known for many years now that obesity leads to reduced life expectancy. Some of it is due to, of course, because obesity leads to other health problems, diabetes, blood pressure, heart disease, so on and so forth. But actually obesity itself, the obese state we know is linked to earlier premature death. And this was actually shown back in the 1960s and 70s in the United States where life insurance companies were basically creating tables to work out the actual risk of death based on body mass index before they were giving out life insurance cover to various members of the population. And they've described this very nicely in the so-called MetLife insurance tables and shown very clearly that as your body mass index and your degree of obesity increases, your years of life lost also increase. So there's a clear linear correlation between obesity and reduced life expectancy.
