Endovenous ablation of the long saphenous vein

My name's Janet Rust. I've come in, I think they've burnt the veins up the top of my leg out. I've had trouble with veins because I've always been overweight all my life. I came a few years, well actually it was to Charing Cross Hospital to have them done and it was very painful. They actually pulled it out, pulled the veins out, and they weren't able to pull them all out because it was too painful for me, but the procedure I've had today was a lot more bearable. It was painful at the top, but it was a lot more bearable than the one that I had at Charing Cross, and I would recommend this one, I think, to other people. Well, they ran out of saline, so they had to use another bag of saline, but it was all okay. I would, as I say, recommend, actually a friend of mine, he's waiting to have it done, but I would recommend him to definitely have it done, and hopefully, yeah, I'll be okay afterwards. you
