Are there any surgical interventions for EDS? No. So with EDS, because there's 13 subgroups, so although the main part of EDS is hypermobility, because it affects every single part of your body, there are 13 different subgroups. So between those 13 different subgroups, it depends on what part of your body is affected. So it really depends on what's going on. I mean there are your normal surgeries for a few sub-largs, so you've got joint dislocations and you've got your normal surgeries that you can have, but because EDS is so specific between those different 13 sub-groups, it really depends on what's actually going on within the body, but in general there's no surgery that's going to correct bowel EDS because it is a different person.
