What is EDS? Okay, so Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome are a group of genetic disorders that affect the connective tissue within the body. So connective tissue is found anywhere within the body. It provides support and structure to tissues, organs. So there's quite a list of connective tissues that affect everything. So it affects skin, ligaments, tendons, blood vessels, internal organs and bones. So within connective tissue there is a protein. So one of the key elements within this protein is called collagen.
