Are there any complications with having an insulin pump fitted?

Are there any potential complications that you can get if you were to use an insulin pump? With any device there is a risk of failure, there is a risk of insulin pump failure. Most of the pumps that we had have warranties which is up to three to four years and we do advise that these patients would have the new insulin pumps after every third to fourth year.
