Okay, so basically I mentioned that I got in touch with a UK surgeon and a friend, funnily enough, had done this research for me and the surgeon that I contacted, I mean I contacted all three that I was put in touch with and the first to respond was very happy to talk to me on a Sunday so that was a big positive for me and so he basically briefed me that there were two types of surgery that needed doing. He also agreed with the Kenyan surgeon who said it's around about the action level but he basically said there are two types of treatments you can have a stent inserted to shore up, you know, that difficult part of your aorta where the aneurysm is at risk. But that's only a kind of short to medium term solution which is, I think, 10 to 12 years if my memory serves me correctly. But he said the gold standard, I remember him clearly using this word, these words, the gold standard was to have the surgery, was to basically have this section, you know, removed by surgery. And that was the major invasive surgery. And he described this as, it's like being hit by a bus. And I've heard other doctors describe bit like that. So that's basically the advice I got and then it wasn't until September that I managed to negotiate my way, you know, finish my job at the time, make arrangements to come back to the UK. At the first available opportunity I was at the hospital having pre-surgery tests and and obviously COVID tests and pre-admission tests to check the strength of my heart and lungs. And then eventually I had the surgery on the 16th of September actually to the gold standard surgery, which was basically a major surgery to remove the section of my aorta, which needed to be repaired because of the aneurysm. you
