What is long Covid?

Consultant respiratory physician Dr Mann explains that people can experience ongoing symptoms of Covid, termed 'long Covid', and can include disabling symptoms fatigue, breathelessness on exertion, chest pain, headache, muscle aches, diarrhoea, ongoing loss of smell and taste.

Fatigue after Covid-19 infection

Consultant respiratory physician Dr Mann explains that one of the more common debilitating symptoms of long Covid is post-viral fatigue, and that we need to improve our understanding of this phenomena. Other common symptoms include 'brain fog' and breathlessness on exertion.
