What is Cellulitis?

Cellulitis is when you get an infection in the skin. The bacteria will cause an inflammatory response, i.e. will cause redness, swelling, which will result in pain. And you may also see that the redness starts to spread along the skin, and this is an indication that a patient needs to see a healthcare professional to institute an early intervention, and this usually takes the form of a prescription of appropriate antibiotics.
