What is a Charcot foot?

Dr Prashant Vas, Consultant Endocrinologist and Diabetologist explains that a Charcot Foot is a rare complication of Diabetes. The condition affects mostly the bone of the foot but can also affect other joints. He explains that is occurs together with nerve damage (neuropathy). Bone structure changes including fracturing.
