What HbA1c targets should we aim for?

Targets can be individualized, like for example, depending upon their age as well and how active they are. If they have already so many comorbidities, we are not going to have a like tight control of like HbA1c, for example, for them 64, which is 8%, you know, 64 millimoles, which is 8% in the old value. It's acceptable. Again, it's very individual. We want to achieve a target without having a high dose because when people have loads of high dose, we try to achieve HbA1c up to like less than 53 millimoles is very tight control. I normally say, I never say anyone can have HbA1c at 48 millimoles, 6.5 percent. If they achieve 6.5 percent or 48 millimoles at the cost of having loads of fibroids, which is very dangerous for them, people can have a heart attack, it affects the people's memory, their brain, they can get a heart attack. It's more complications than even higher. So target is individualized according to the patients. So I would normally say, you know, 7% means in 53 million worlds, which is without having a high dose. If they have loads of high dose, people lose their quality of life as well. So again, as it is personalizing how patient is. Some people can achieve, you know, 6.5% which is 48 millivolts or even 6.7% which is 50 millivolts without having hypers. It's the management, individual management, how people, you know, it is a lot of work because you have to always plan ahead, think ahead, plan your exercise, plan your food, which some people think is overwhelming and then they don't have quality of life. So that's why we just say, you know, like I would say for me it's like 7% which is 53 millimoles without having high dose. Thank you very much.
