What are the treatments options for Lymphoedema?

The lymphoedema is a very challenging condition to treat. Any risk factor that's modifiable is attempted, so weight loss, if it results secondary to to having a disease process such as cancer. Mainstay of treatment is compression therapy, where again that compression improves or tries to help the drainage of the fluid of the leg by forcing that fluid in lymph nodes for drainage. But we are limited into more invasive treatments are offered if it causes significant morbidity to the, for example, not being able to wear footwear and so on, there may be some more invasive surgical options to drain the fluid from that leg, like a micro cannulation suction of fluid from that leg.
