What are the complications associated with EVA? Most EVA procedures don't come with complications and patients only stay at hospital for a couple of days. However, there are some serious complications like stent migrations, a stent covering a renal artery, which means there is no more blood flow to the renal artery, occlusion of one of the legs, which means there is no more blood flow to the lower limb. And other than that, most EVA procedures come without complications at first, but sometimes in few patients there are complications later, which means there are endoleaks, which is a residual blood flow to the aneurysm.
