I suppose the thing I'm probably most concerned about at this time of the year is dehydration and that's because I do a lot of physical activity, I do a lot of walking and with you know being dry and sunny probably the heat on top of that there is a risk of dehydration. Being someone with type 2 diabetes when you have diabetes you're at a high risk of dehydration anyway and as you get older your skin begins to dry more so you lose a lot more water and also because of you know hot weather you lose it through you lose water through because of that as well. So that's a constant worry for me when I'm out and about and that's the reason why I always carry a bottle of water with me and if I'm driving somewhere then I make sure that there's a spare bottle in the car as well just in case I run out of water.
