My role as an Interventional Radiologist.

My role is split in two different parts. First of all, of course, the diagnosis of the disease. So I assess patients and I decide if a patient, together with my group, of course, is eligible for any kind of invasive interventions based on the symptoms of the patient. And the other part, which is probably the biggest part of my job, is the interventional one. for patients who require a re-canalization at the level of the infertile vessels done by a keyhole procedure. This is my role, I go down, I dig into the arteries, I try to open them with balloons, with stands, with anything that can keep the artery open enough in order to establish a better blood flow supply to the foot or to the calf.
