Is stenting suitable for Chronic Aortic Dissection?

Chronic aortic section can be treated with a stent, and that stent is usually custom made for the patient anatomy. For the past many years, this has become kind of a standard of care for patients with chronic aortic dissection who have developed aortic aneurysms that meet the threshold to be treated, to be fixed with a stent. What we call that is a branched endovascular repair or fenestrated endovascular repair done in certain centers with an experienced hand and an experienced team. They provide excellent results for those patients and it's been quite a revolution, if you will, in that field.
