How will cataracts affect my life?

Right, so if I'm getting a contract, how will that affect me? So here is a nice photo of a child and the clear red part which we can see is actually the retina so here the pupils are dilated, we use dilating eye drops like these ones we use dilating eye drops to dilate the pupils and when the pupils are dilated we have a better view inside of the eye and this is we can see the reflexes there these are called the ridge reflex and that ridge reflex is formed basically if we open the eye like that in this model the pupil is narrow so the eye is not dilated if we open all of this so the ridge reflex is basically the light coming inward and bouncing back from the retina and it shows as a red color so in this This young boy's photo, the rig reflex, is very bright in the right eye and it shows that the media is entirely clear, the cornea is healthy, there is no cataract now whatsoever but the left eye, there is a not very clear rig reflex, it's not entirely white, it's partly white, it's partly blocked. So that's the first thing that people would notice that at night there is a bit of whiteness inside of my eye inside of the black spot it looks a bit white and that's the description we get and that's the first thing that people one of the very early things that people would notice how does it affect the vision so people would start saying that we're getting hallows around lights and the vision is a bit misty the vision is cloudy it's like I am looking through fog it's like I am seeing through mist and the distant light starts to become a bit fuzzy and hallows around light and that's one of the very early presentation and again very terrible and troublesome glare during nighttime especially for the incoming traffic lights. These are the very early signs of a cataract and at this particular point usually the patient may not be complaining of a terrible vision such as just these symptoms happening and they may disturb the daily activities so the patient may feel they are not really safe to drive and at that point they may opt out to go for the cataract surgery so that they can restore their confidence in driving. That's one of the more advanced stages this is the chart we used to test the vision and at that point the vision has all gone blurry because the cataract is blocking more and more light rays from going into the eye so it's becoming a bit more advanced and hence at this point it reduces the entire field of vision.
