So, the benefit of summer is longer days and shorter nights. Certainly it can be challenging if people can't sleep in the dark or need dark to sleep. For me, I'm very lucky. I love it. It is my favorite time of year. I tend not to go to sleep until late and have no problem waking up if it's a sunny nice morning and the sun is up. I get energy from that. So even though I may not sleep as many hours, the ability to be outside and enjoy the days is so beneficial to me that I easily cope with the lack of sleep if it comes.
