do thoracic aneurysms give you neck pain? Generally speaking, in my experience, no. Sometimes when the aneurysm extends up to the arch of the aorta, you can feel a pulsation just above the collarbone, but mostly there wouldn't be a reason for it to cause neck pain. I think if you had neck pain or back pain or anything like that with a thoracic aneurysm, then there would be a worry that it might be about to rupture. So, in the event of those symptoms, I would probably want to repair the aneurysm quite urgently. I don't think that neck pain in association with moving around would be associated with an aneurysm particularly. So, I think it would more be back of the neck, back type pain rather than on movement.
