With gestational diabetes, ordinarily it's not a routine thing to test for urine or blood pressure, but your blood pressure and urine will usually be checked anyway when you attend. So that is often the case that at some point you will have those done and if you're identified as having someone who has high blood pressure, then you will have more regular tests and you will then be your urine will be looked at for evidence of protein being in there because you may be increased risk of something called preeclampsia and we want to avoid that. you

My experiences of stigma around having Diabetes.

Chris talks movingly about Stigma he has experienced around having Type 1 Diabtes as a young person and later.
