Coronary Angiography (Ms HP)
HP, a 70 year old female, presented with breathlessness and suspicion of pulmonary hypertension. She previously had a 29mm Mosaic bio prosthesis inserted to replace her diseased mitral valve. Also, she had undergone atrioventricular node ablation for her arrhythmia (irregular heart rate). Subsequent echocardiogram revealed severe tricuspid regurgitation (leakage of blood backward through a heart valve). Afterwards, she underwent a right sided coronary angiogram through the right brachial vein. The findings showed elevated pressures on the right side of the heart.
