Hello everyone. My name is Comfort Fulek. I live in Greenford and I joined BIPIN's class of diabetes prevention and learning more about diabetes in acting sometime last year. Just to help me to share ideas with others, especially food. Those who know me will testify I live for food and not just any food, but healthy food because I had to assist my late husband who had heart disease and other illnesses with healthy diet, and I have attended a few dietary and nutrition courses at Ealing Hospital and Northwick Park Hospital. And I've got something special as a starter for this Christmas, and it has no carbohydrates. And this is my version of pigs in blankets. These are king prawns, of course, wrapped in bacon. However, if you are a vegetarian, you can still use carrots and courgettes and wrap them up in salad leaves and that will be perfect as well. But if you are non-vegetarian then the king prawns in bacon with crispy salad leaves and a few tomatoes here and there, perfect for the job and extra virgin olive oil dressing does it no carbohydrates. We can all enjoy Christmas without putting on weight which is not good for the insulin and everything else in our body.
