Cold Weather Health Concerns

Many of us struggle to stay motivated in the Winter months. It is hard when the days are short and dark, with miserable weather. It is often mentally and physically difficult to even get started on things you want to do. Our health-shared communities also shared how they face and overcome those challenges. Chris talks about how how he feels that both Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes should both be taken seriously. He shares his learning on both Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes. He talks about a relative who took his type 2 Diabetes lightly but felt that early care and attention to things like weight loss may be helpful in the longer term. Chris has also come across people with Gestational Diabetes as well as women with Type 1 Diabetes who were pregnant. He ends by talking about the benefits of good blood glucose control.
