Angioplasty of leg arteries

Okay, would you like to start by saying what procedure you've had done? I've had angioplasty on my left leg done because I had ulcers on my foot. Now the ulcers were pretty severe. I ended up in a wheelchair and after the angioplasty they tended to clear up, so I had a second angioplasty done, the 24th of last month, and that has left me with a better blood supply to my left leg, and my ulcers are completely cleared up altogether. Would you like to tell us about your experience going through it all? My experience was the first angioplasty, I was sort of relaxed and I just drifted off to sleep. The second one I stayed awake for and saw the procedure on the screen as well as he was doing it. It was pain free. There was very little discomfort in it and I would recommend it to anyone who's got problems with their feet or with their their blood flow to their feet to have it done or to get it done. It's quite simple as far as I'm concerned. Mightn't be too simple for the man that's doing it but it was pain-free and trouble-free. Did anything unexpected happen? Not really. The first time there was an ache up in the hospital, we were put off for a week. We went in the next week and had it done. Came home the same day, no problems whatsoever. Is there anything you'd like to recommend to someone who's having it done, or going through it and trying to make the decision whether to have it or not? If anyone has got ulcers on their feet or problems with their feet, I'd recommend that it increases the blood flow to your feet and makes healing a lot easier. Is there anything else you'd like to add? Not really, I mean it's relatively pain free as far as the treatment is concerned. It's been a big success for you? Yeah.
