So I work on a part-time basis to raise much needed funds for the Lindsay Leg Club Foundation. To date the foundation has had a fantastic relationship with the industry partners and long may that continue, it's so valuable. However we need to think of diversification as well and not put all our eggs into one basket so we'd like to set up other streams of funding as well which is important for the foundation's future and allows the trustees to plan ahead. So my role is to make relationships and applications to grant giving trusts and foundations. So that's going very well, I've been doing that for about three years now and we've raised just under £80,000 doing that. But it's all about building relationships and as I say, just planning for the future as well. We'd also like to set up a stream of individual giving. Everybody knows somebody who's got a leg ulcer and it would be lovely to have those people as part of our team as well.
