Leg arterial bypass for short distance claudication

Mr Churchill suffered from short distance lower limb claudication (pain in the calf when he walks). This was severely lifestyle limited in terms of ability to get around. Mr Churchill and his lovely wife, authentic Cockneys from the old East End of London, describe their experiences of the surgery and recovery. A bypass was performed from the femoral artery to the popliteal artery using his own long saphenous vein.
