How is Charles Bonnet Syndrome diagnosed?

Finding a diagnosis is not terribly easy. An ophthalmologist should be able to diagnose you, a psychiatrist of course but you don't always want to go down that route, an optometrist and actually your GP. Unfortunately there aren't enough healthcare professionals who do understand Charles Bonnet syndrome but as it now has its own coding in ICD 11 which is the World Health Organization's taxonomy of diseases and conditions, I hope that very soon there will be many more people who can help to diagnose you.
