You know, when you're about to have a medical procedure, it's only human to really want to know what it's going to feel like, what it's going to be like, and if you're the one who's had a procedure, you really want to share your experiences and thoughts with other people. And I think bringing that patient experience to bear on the entire issue could genuinely help to improve patients' experience of surgery and possibly impact upon their actual recovery time. I also find that this is clearly the digital age. Our children are brought up with iPads and computers. And certainly I have lots of patients who come to me and they've already spent time researching their condition. And they come sometimes more well informed than I am in certain aspects of newer treatments that maybe I'm not so familiar with. So I think having patient testimonials that are readily available on the internet is actually a fantastic idea and really help them understand the procedure that they're going to have.
