Endovenous Ablation of varicose veins

This 60 years old gentleman explains how his experience of having a radio-frequency ablation of his left long saphenous vein and multiple avulsions for symptomatic varicose veins. He had previous had a similar procedure for the right leg a few months ago, also under local anaesthesia.

Thrombophlebitis causes a tender red lumpy vein. The tenderness goes in about a week but the lumps can take weeks to dissolve away.
