Unveiling Diabetes Amidst Cancer

I didn't know I had diabetes and I was being treated for cancer at the time and I went in for a minor treatment to help with the spread of my, to reduce the spread of my cancer and they were giving me the medication and I started to feel feverish and shaky and the next thing I knew I was waking up in a hospital bed one week later I'd gone into a diabetic coma and that's how I found out how bad my diabetes had got and so it was all part of the chemotherapy that I was getting. So you don't always know the symptoms of diabetes, yes you could have dry mouth but everybody has dry mouth and everybody drinks, you'll just continue drinking as you would normally do. The first thing you think of is not diabetes, you just think you're just thirsty and going to the toilet quite a lot. So be wary if there's diabetes in your family, you need to get that checked.
