Parkinson's medication side effects.

Did you know that everything that you experienced with the Parkinson's medication beforehand or were there things that you had to discover a bit later? Some, I think, I think like my speech, I remember asking my consultant at the time, would Parkinson's affect my speech and she said no and it has so I said that was that was one that I didn't expect but I go back to medication and I knew I knew that there's a high chance that it would make me sick because it's really common and in fact that didn't happen my mind my mind I've never I've never I've taken I've had variations of tablets that have disagreed with me and one in particular is that I wish I can't remember it was some sort of she built it all I can remember is it's an It's an Israeli drug made by the Israelis. And she billed it as a game-changer. If this works for you, then you'll be bionic. And it made me feel not sick, not vomiting sick, but really sort of like someone was pushing down on my head constantly. It was a really horrible feeling, so I stopped them. And I had one that made me faint. So I think it interfered with my blood pressure. So I had to stop that as well. Because also hypotension is also very common in Parkinson's. So also, you know, your medication has to be tailored. And so if you take, if you, if I, I mean, my blood pressure has always been fine. You know, if I was hypotensive and I took, hypotensive and I took beta blockers or something like that, then I would have to be, you know, I have to check that with Parkinson's tablets to make sure that the dose wasn't so strong that, you know, that would also bring my blood pressure down. There's a whole heap of things to think about with tablets, medication, none of which is really explained. The feeding sickness was explained, the blood pressure thing wasn't. I sort of picked that up off the internet, of Parkinson's websites, you know, Parkinson's chat rooms, I suppose you could call them, and the head shaking and the sort of jerky movement, that wasn't really explained to me, I discovered that myself. I think because there are so many side effects and, you know, because Parkinson's is so it's even though it's it's even though it's it's it's a very common very common um syndrome and illness it's very individualized so lots of you know there's so many symptoms that people get those people don't there's so many sort of medications that people can take others can't so I think perhaps that's why they don't go they don't run through the whole list because the chances are 50% of the side effects you won't get and also there was like the when I first looked at the tablets I made the mistake of reading the leaf that comes in with them and it said things like you know um you will you will gamble uncontrollably which I'm not making it up I swear to god uh you you will gamble there's a possibility you gambling because I thought well I don't gamble now and see I don't understand odds I just I can't all this nine to five bollocks I don't I don't understand it so I'm thinking oh please don't please I don't want that one I'll go mental so anyway I didn't I didn't I didn't get I didn't get that one thankfully um you have a high you you will have uncontrollable sexual urges I didn't get that one. It's a genuine side effect. Out of all of them, I wouldn't have minded that, but I didn't get that either. There's an uncontrollable urge to shop. I didn't really get that. Although Amazon took a bit of money off me, I have to say, but I didn't have an uncontrollably. I see like three in the morning together in Debenhams. What else is there's the ones that I seem to remember that made me so scared and laugh in equal measures. There's like something like the League of Gentlemen or Monty Python. If it's a writer, it's a tablet, you know, what this is going to do to you. That's quite funny. But yeah, I remember those three quite clearly. I didn't get any of them.
