You won't be aware that you have atrial fibrillation, so you won't have any symptoms related to the condition, but you may need to be screened if you have got additional risk factors such as high blood pressure or diabetes, or if you feel your pulse and you feel that your heart is irregular. If you have any additional risk that may increase your risk of a stroke then you should be screened.
