Why do people with Diabetes develop foot problems?
Jayne Robbie, Senior Lecturer in Diabetes Care, Specialist Podiatrist explains that in her experience people don't understand Diabetes well and allow neuropathy to develop. This allows damage to happen as there is no feeling. This in turn allows infection to get into their foot which can lead to severe infection in the foot.
